This fresh piano trio draws from different eras of improvised music to create a fresh\, bright sound that is guaranteed to expand your mind. These three musicians have a decade of background in the indie rock world\, and now they finally have an outlet for improvisational flow\, communicating together onstage so that every show is a different experience. Creating and improvising\, without worrying about what jazz should be. \nDilly Dally Alley\nSince releasing their debut album in May of last year\, Dilly Dally Alley has gained local reputability for their “pop smarts\, soulful grooves\, deft dance vibes” from sources like The Current\, MPR\, RacketMN\, Americana Highways\, Rootstime\, and more. Ultimately\, Dilly hopes that their eclectic jazz sound inspires audiences to dance a little harder\, love a little better\, scream a little louder\, and be a better caretaker for the communities they belong to. \nSweet Pea\nSweet Pea is bustin out the pod and onto Minneapolis stages with their collection of wirey\, energetic pop tunes\, occasionally played at frenetic tempos! Don’t miss a chance to see these pretty boys play. Trenton Skalicky leads the group with compelling vocals and lush key arrangements. Flanking him are Brett Tennyson’s acid-baked guitar riffs and the smooth bass grooves of Noah Tankersley. Linus Hennessee backs the operation with incredible energy behind the kit.
