Built to perform\, they channel an eclectic and earnest brand of heavy metal that melts faces\, moving between intensity\, passion\, and unrelenting energy. Their full-length album\, apoplectic*—dropped in May 2024—rips open the scars of these uncertain times\, tearing through themes of fear\, frustration\, and anger with a sound as relentless as it is authentic. The album captures the collective rage of a world in turmoil\, reflecting the band’s honest approach to both music and life. From studio jamming to non-stop live gigs around the Twin Cities\, Dead By 50 keeps the flame of rebellion burning bright. Led by Tony Gallahue’s fiery vocals and sermons of defiance\, Al Sweeny’s machine-gun drumming\, Jason Fetch and Dave Soderstrom’s twin guitar attack\, and Jerry Hansen’s ground-shaking bass\, Dead By 50 brings an intensity that can only come from seasoned musicians. And just remember – there are more of us than them. \n \nJake Schultz\n \nJake Schultz is a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter based in the Twin Cities\, MN. Growing up\, he predominantly focused on playing rock and metal\, but was heavily influenced by the guitar sounds of the 80s from the likes of Joe Satriani\, Steve Vai\, Prince\, etc. Playing in various bands of all sorts of genres throughout the years\, the now 23 year old is heavily influenced by jazz\, shoegaze\, indie\, and metal. Him and his band strive to bring forth a soundscape combining these genres\, while also creating a fresh sound. His most recent EP\, “A Taste Of Blue”\, featuring Annie Thoma of Killed by Kiwis\, he considers his best work to date. \n \nFragged Out\nFragged Out is a Hardcore/Post Hardcore band from Minneapolis that refuses to be bound to just one sound. From their energetic stage show to the comradere between members\, they strive to create a party environment\, have fun and make new friends doing so. They are currently supporting their first EP “Rage” which was released in September. \n \n
