DESCRIPTION:Bright Young Things\nBright Young Things are an indie rock/pop group from the Twin Cities with a vintage edge\, known for bringing a distinct\, fun\, and interactive energy to their live shows. Combining members from three existing local favorites—Honey Tree\, Sidedoors\, and Eat at Home—they fuse jangly guitars\, nostalgic hooks\, and classic rhythms into a sound that’s both fresh and familiar. Bright Young Things are quickly carving out their place in the Twin Cities music scene—inviting crowds to have fun and be apart of it all. \n \nKilroy\nThe improvisational project of four middle schoolers turned solo project turned two high schoolers turned a solo project again turned into one hell of a live band to a solo project then live band again but only with two guys and then with four again and then a solo project again then who knows what \n \nEmily and the Space Butterflies\nEmily and The Space Butterflies was spontaneously formed in February 2023 at a music teacher convention. Based in Minneapolis\, the band is composed of five classically trained musicians and music educators (Emily Malmgren\, Olin Edwards\, Jacques Tousignant\, Kylie Johnson\, and Henry Rieffer). Drawing inspiration from the realms of pop\, rock\, and the narratives of female singer-songwriters\, Emily Malmgren’s songwriting serves as the cornerstone of the band. The band’s collaborative process shapes what starts as a voice memo of Emily and her piano into unique arrangements that highlight the individual talents of each member\, infusing each song with technical precision and creative flair. With infectious energy and catchy melodies\, Emily and The Space Butterflies will always leave you wanting more.
