Costumes Encouraged! \nThe Menagerie\nGet ready to groove! The Menagerie is a 4-piece funk/jam band based in Minneapolis\, Minnesota. Originally starting as a folk revival project in lead guitarist Matthew Smith’s (He/him) freshman dorm\, the Menagerie has begun to stretch their legs\, continuously reaching deeper into the ether of sound. Influence from Americana\, funk\, and indie rock creates a feeling of nostalgia\, while improvised solos and jams make performances feel fresh and personal. \nMonarch\nMonarch is a six-piece funk rock band from the Twin Cities\, MN. With each member coming from different backgrounds\, such as blues\, jam band\, alternative rock\, hip-hop\, metal\, and EDM\, they blend these influences into a cohesive funk-rock sound that isn’t afraid to push boundaries.
