And yes — we’re hosting a Holiday Sweater Competition\, so bring your boldest\, brightest\, or most questionably cozy knitwear to compete for glory. \nThe night kicks off with BLVCKBVRN\, a Minneapolis indie/alt artist whose genre-blurring blend of alternative pop\, indie rock\, and R&B creates an unmistakably magnetic sound. Paired up with the genius guitarist Jon Elconin and joined on select tracks by vocalist Daleiden\, BLVCKBVRN delivers vivid storytelling and catchy melodies that pull you in from the first note. With a long list of projects on streaming platforms and new releases on the way\, his set is raw\, compelling\, and impossible to ignore. \nNext up is Brunch\, an eight-piece soul-pop powerhouse serving up an infectious amount of funk. Their spicy horn lines\, slick grooves\, and catchy melodies turn the brewery into a dance floor in seconds. With a repertoire spanning stylized originals to soulful takes on classic funk and pop tunes\, Brunch provides exactly the kind of warmth a Minnesota winter calls for. \nClosing out the night is Rada K & The Cicadas\, bringing their signature ecosystem of sound to ring in the holiday season. Built on the easy chemistry of singer Rada Kolarova\, bassist Pete Collova\, guitarist Joshua Shaffer\, and percussionist Miles Whealy\, the band weaves velvet vocals\, melodic bass\, sparkling guitar\, and inventive rhythms into narrative that’s intimate\, joyful\, and alive. Their whimsical originals trace the arc of falling in love across Twin Cities seasons\, while their funky\, familiar covers — from Stevie Wonder to SZA to Vulfpeck — send the room into motion.
