DESCRIPTION:Valors\nMinneapolis loud boys\, Valors\, are Ian Valor (vocals/guitar)\, Tanner Montague (drums)\, and Chad Hofland (bass). Their first album\, Everyday Saints\, was produced by the band and recorded by Adam Tucker at Signaturetone Recording. Since then\, they’ve curated a more relentless sound that captures the nostalgia of the ’90s\, with the energy of a hungry honey badger. The band combines smoky vocals and woofy bass with lots of riffs\, drum solos\, and aggressive guitar solos. It’s a rock ‘n’ roll buffet\, baby. \nSigcell\nSigcell\, embraces their shapeshifting ways and returns with Transhuman\, an album miles from the alt‐americana sound of 2019’s Pile of Ghosts but just around the corner and down a dirty alley from their electronically dense debut\, The Poet. Drawn from the band’s many influences such as Pixies\, Elbow\, Smashing Pumpkins\, and The Cure\, Transhuman evolves the traditions of alt\, psych\, and prog rock. \nSunsets Over Flowers\nSunsets Over Flowers delivers an ode to previous lovers with elements of grunge\, psychedelic\, shoegaze and poetry. Nostalgic sound leaving us in-between abandonment and desolation.
