SUMMARY:St. George's Folly's St. Patrick's Day Hullabaloo
DESCRIPTION:St. George’s Folly with special guest Atomic Lights \nUnchecked\, untamed\, and mildly unhinged\, the six-strong posse of St. George’s Folly make a bold stand in the face of basic dignity and decorum. Their rowdy\, whiskey-soaked blend of rock and folk which careens wildly through the realms of American and Irish tradition is heralded as “trailblazing” by fans and derided as “absolute sacrilege” by traditionalists  and clergy. \nFirst unleashed on an unsuspecting public with the release of their debut single Old Jim’s Eulogy\, the band followed up nine months later (total coincidence\, don’t be weird) with the release of their 2018 debut album Along This Road. The album was released to great critical acclaim – or it might have been\, had it been sent to any critics who might have acclaimed it. Despite the efforts of several international law enforcement agencies\, the album remains available to stream and/or purchase on all major platforms. \n2018 also witnessed the departure and unconfirmed-but-definitely-possible death of four founding members\, leaving remaining founders Adam Azra’el and Arphu Foster scrambling to fill the vacancies by frantically scrawling want-ads on truck stop bathrooms. It was a tactic which was packed with unpleasant surprises\, but ultimately effective – one of the departed fouders (mandolinist Bradley Kallhoff) even saw one of the ads and returned by mistake. \nNow\, this road-weary (and somewhat sticky) group of miscreants emerges from the covid almost-grave with a new album\, a matured sound\, and a series of bassist Anthony Staten’s very tasteful nudes which will be up for auction soon.\nListen on Spotify \nAtomic Lights \nAtomic Lights is a punk rock band formed by friends Andrew\, Chris\, and Greg in the suburbs of Minneapolis in 2012. They found solace in music during their teenage years and began practicing relentlessly. Despite humble beginnings and unconventional venues\, they played wherever they could\, honing their sound. Their first notable release\, “Burn Out\,” came in 2016\, marking the start of their journey into wider recognition. In 2017\, they embarked on their first tour\, facing challenges but forming lasting bonds. After a quieter period in 2018\, they joined forces with another band\, Houston and the Dirty Rats\, in 2019. The pandemic of 2020 provided them with time to record their first full-length album\, set for release in 2024\, marking the culmination of their journey from a summer pact to a promising musical endeavor. \nListen on Spotify

If they’re not careful\, listeners might accidentally put aside their Midwestern stoicism for the duration of the Sammies’ set. \n23Watts\nTwin City-based four-piece alt-rock band. Founded by guitarist and singer/songwriter Jeff Lemiesz\, who shares lead and rhythm guitar duties with Tim Dempsey. A rhythm section that consists of bassist Shamus Greger and Bill Strohm on drums rounds out the lineup. Together they deliver an eclectic mix of unique material from multiple genres.\nStylistically\, 23 Watts’ music is completely their own\, but not without the trace of influence. DESCRIPTION:Eli Gardiner\nEli Gardiner is a songwriter from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan\, currently located in Minneapolis Minnesota. Coming of the 2020 release of his album\, The Fire and The Medicine\, he formed his full band comprised of drummer Greg Schutte (Mickey Hart\, Ryan Bingham) lap steel/electric guitarist Dan Schwartz\, keyboardist Kevin Gamble and bassist Nick Salisbury (Ryan Bingham\, Brian Fallon). \nEli grew up in musical household. His mom played flute and piano and his dad classical guitar. Music was always on\, James Taylor\, Jim Croce\, and Bonnie Raitt would be playing as dinner was made and the dishes were washed. Eli’s music is always changing\, morphing to the mood and groove. It can be described as Americana or Rock\, but the themes are deeply rooted in our lives in present day\, what it means to be a human and to be sympathetic to other people. Its also about our connection\, how we are all the same and crave that understanding that music can bring at its most transcendental times. \nSamuel John\nHailing from the small town of Braham\, MN\, Samuel John found his musical calling through the inspiring performances of his mother\, a pianist and vocalist\, and witnessing his brother Ben drum for a touring country band. Samuel\, also a frequent concert-goer\, drew inspiration from watching his favorite songwriters in the independent country and rock scene.
