Growing up in Austin\, Texas\, Bryn immersed herself in the area’s dynamic music scene\, co-producing her debut EP All I Have to Offer You Is Anything You Want with Curtis McMurtry and Diana Burgess (of Austin’s Mother Falcon) in 2020. Her sophomore EP Hang Your Clothes explores her relationship with ADHD through smart lyricism and lively string parts.

Described by Isthmus Magazine as “summer-jam-perfect” and two-time recipient of the Madison Area Music Association (MAMA) Artist of the Year Award (2019\, 2022)\, Wurk fills the gap between complexity and groove\, impressing fans and keeping them dancing all night. \n \nSunshine and the Night Walkers\nare a blues\, funk and soul seven piece band from St. Paul\, Mn that will get you shaking and sweating. Once you get all lathered up they like to hit you with a soul stirring tune that comes from dark\, undiscovered places. Most of the band met going to college at McNally Smith College of Music. In summer of 2022 they released their first full length album\, Born In The Basement.

That influence has carried over into songwriting that doesn’t focus on genre\, but on precise arrangements\, moving melodies\, and stories with intrigue. \nThe Minnesota-based group supports a traditional bluegrass composition (banjo\, mandolin\, guitar\, and upright bass) but strives to break the bonds that are typical or expected. All members write music that leads to a diverse original catalog of bluegrass\, roots\, Americana\, pop\, jazz\, and folk. \n \nNorth Ridge\nNorth Ridge is a trio based out of St. Paul Minnesota that makes broken down acoustic songs. The band features Jeff Narlock\, Maddie Moen and Justin Rude. \n \nWayward\nJonathan Edwards\, aka Wayward\, is an Indie Pop Singer-Songwriter from Minneapolis\, MN. With a love for writing and sharing songs\, Wayward is touring the Midwest in anticipation of his debut full-length album “Happiness?”. \nThe singer-songwriter began touring in November of 2016\, eager to bring a personal\, engaging live show to audiences across the Midwest. And those audiences have listened to the first release — a 3-song EP titled “Wayward” — over 800\,000 times online.

SUMMARY:Emily and the Space Butterflies: Fragile Album Release Show
DESCRIPTION:Join Emily and the Space Butterflies for their album release show! With support from Polivon and Rhino Shrine. \nEmily and the Space Butterflies\nEmily and The Space Butterflies was spontaneously formed in February 2023 at a music teacher convention. Based in Minneapolis\, the band is composed of five classically trained musicians and music educators. Drawing inspiration from the realms of pop\, rock\, and the narratives of female singer-songwriters\, Emily Malmgren’s songwriting serves as the cornerstone of the band. The band’s collaborative process shapes what starts as a voice memo of Emily and her piano into unique arrangements that highlight each member\, infusing each song with technical precision and creative flair. With infectious energy and catchy melodies\, Emily and The Space Butterflies aim to always leave you wanting more. \n \nPolivon\nPolivon was formed in Summer of 2023\, when our singer Andrew Njogu asked a few of his high school buddies to join him in writing tunes to perform live. We set out to play a few local bars\, and hosted a few shows in our garage practice space(since moved out) in Como Mpls over this past summer. We generally revolve around styles rooted in 60s-70s pop-rock\, with long and driving jams to melt your ears\, often infused with elements of R&B\, country\, and stories about love. Each member brings their own unique touch brought by their differing musical backgrounds\, blending into a spontaneous and diverse selection of music\, including many covers! \n  \nRhino Shrine\nRhino Shrine was formed in 2017 when the high school project The Crak Pots decided to do some lineup and style changes. Lifelong friends Gavin Jarl (Lead Vocals\, Guitar)\, Bud Hjelmberg (Lead Guitar)\, and Adam Trelstad (Keys\, Trumpet) were joined by Ben Ranney (Bass) and Martin Corral (Drums) and with the release of their first single Tangerine Dream\, they began crafting a sound both unique to themselves and right at home in the Minneapolis scene.

DESCRIPTION:J-Mo on the Beat and the J-Lighters\nJamie Passewe (J-Mo On The Beat) is a singer-songwriter and musician born and raised in Saint Paul\, Minnesota. His music reflects on the styles of the 50s and early 60s\, as well as a touch of alternative and indie rock. His sound is influenced by artists such as Elvis Presley\, Michael Jackson\, Cliff Richard\, Stephen Sanchez\, and Billy Fury. He started performing at the age of 10 with dancing and explored becoming a music artist as a full on life journey in high school. He is now a college graduate (from Saint Paul College) with the support from his community\, which he calls his “J-Lighters”. He loves to play the local Twin Cities spots like Caydence Records and Coffee\, Kj’s Hideaway\, White Squirrel\, and more\, as both as a solo artist or with his amazing band\, The J-Lighters! \n \nThe Rowdy Gents\nThe Rowdy Gents are a rockabilly band that formed in February of 2021 in Minneapolis\, MN through the love of early rock & roll and a series of lucky Craigslist inquiries. The original lineup of the band consisted of singer/guitarist\, Kody Gerard\, bassist/harmonicist\, Nolan Larson\, and drummer\, Kellan Pontarolo in which they recorded and released singles (‘Til Then) I’ll Be Blue/My Babe and Five More Days/You Did Me Right in April of 2022. In June of 2022\, Pontarolo left the band and was soon replaced by Jake Pomasl. The band later released their first full album\, Old Fashioned Love Songs in December of 2023. The Rowdy Gents pull inspiration from the classic artists of the 1950’s to deliver a fun\, entertaining sound that you can’t help but dance to. \n \n

DESCRIPTION:Hosted by Phil Kolas \nFeatured Comedians:\nChris Maddock\nFrom the land of sunkissed beer guts\, Stillwater\, MN\, in the scenic St. Croix Valley\, Chris Maddock is a gorgeous and classically styled stand up comedian\, made of solid grapes-47% Comic\, 19% Hot Waiter Guy\, with the rest amounting to pure Country Music Legend. Chris performed in the 43rd Annual San Francisco Comedy Competition in 2018\, with deep aromas of violet and cassis giving way to a leathery texture and a touch of charred beef. He’d do well in the Cellar. For 15 years beginning in 2003\, Chris “Mad Dog” Maddock hosted the storied Death Comedy Jam\, a weekly hub of MPLS comedy and subject of a documentary film\, “Death’s Last Stand”. He recorded his first comedy album\, Point of Entry\, at the legendary Minneapolis rock ganglion First Avenue in the 7th St. Entry\, and released it in 2012 on the Grammy Award winning Stand Up! Records. In 2014 Minneapolis weekly organ City Pages named him Stand Up Comic of the Year\, and his 2nd record and special is being released in 2020 under the appellation Country Music Legend. He lives in Minneapolis with his son\, Waylon\, and his better half\, who is also named Kryss\, but spells it weird. \n\nAteh Ekinde\nArmed with the casual confidence of an agent of chaos\, this comedian brings a laid-back brand of foolishness to every stage. He’s here for a good time – and if the audience wants to join in on the fun\, well\, that’s cool too. \n\n\n\nLuis Uz\nLuis Uz is a Hispanic comic from the sleepy town of Montrose\, Minnesota In his short time doing comedy\, Luis has performed nationally\, spreading awareness that being called “one of the good ones” is not an actual compliment. He co-hosts Good Ones: a comedy show with Elizabeth Selin.

His new band Jeffry Becker and The Gentlemen\, are celebrating the new vinyl lp release\, Spin\, with a powerfully joyful\, and inspiring live show. \n \nJ-Mo and the J-Lighters\nJamie Passewe (J-Mo On The Beat) is a singer-songwriter and musician born and raised in Saint Paul\, Minnesota. His music reflects on the styles of the 50s and early 60s\, as well as a touch of alternative and indie rock. His sound is influenced by artists such as Elvis Presley\, Michael Jackson\, Cliff Richard\, Stephen Sanchez\, and Billy Fury. He started performing at the age of 10 with dancing and explored becoming a music artist as a full on life journey in high school. He is now a college graduate (from Saint Paul College) with the support from his community\, which he calls his “J-Lighters”. He loves to play the local Twin Cities spots like Caydence Records and Coffee\, Kj’s Hideaway\, White Squirrel\, and more\, as both as a solo artist or with his amazing band\, The J-Lighters! \n \n

Growing up\, he predominantly focused on playing rock and metal\, but was heavily influenced by the guitar sounds of the 80s from the likes of Joe Satriani\, Steve Vai\, Prince\, etc. Playing in various bands of all sorts of genres throughout the years\, the now 23 year old is heavily influenced by jazz\, shoegaze\, indie\, and metal. Him and his band strive to bring forth a soundscape combining these genres\, while also creating a fresh sound. His most recent EP\, “A Taste Of Blue”\, featuring Annie Thoma of Killed by Kiwis\, he considers his best work to date. \n \nFragged Out\nFragged Out is a Hardcore/Post Hardcore band from Minneapolis that refuses to be bound to just one sound. From their energetic stage show to the comradere between members\, they strive to create a party environment\, have fun and make new friends doing so.
