Their rowdy\, whiskey-soaked blend of rock and folk which careens wildly through the realms of American and Irish tradition is heralded as “trailblazing” by fans and derided as “absolute sacrilege” by traditionalists and clergy.\n\n\nListen on Spotify\n\nPine & Fire\n \nPine & Fire is a working class folk duo from the north woods of Minnesota\, formed by longtime best friends\, Jobi Adams and Brandi Foster. They blend traditional roots music influences with a modern punk sentiment\, creating a unique and driving sound. Together they sing original songs woven with themes of love\, escapism\, home\, and growth. Since their start as pine & fire in 2019\, they have released three self-produced projects. In 2020 they released their debut EP\, ‘We’re All Thinking It…’. In 2021\, they released ‘the son’\, a vulnerable\, cohesive project created and written by Jobi and accompanied and produced by Brandi. In August of 2022 they released a six song EP called People Come and Go \, which takes us through the ups and downs of navigating human relationships. Actor on the cable access show Cable HotDish. \n  \n  \n  \n  \n\n\n\n\nNathan Fulsebakke\nNathan Fulsebakke started comedy in December 2015 in a basement bar in Fargo\, ND that reeked of stale beer and urinal cakes. Since his auspicious debut he has performed from Minneapolis\, MN to Missoula\, MT\, along with dozens of small town bars in between. His comedic stories touch on the dirtiest of subjects\, but he does his best to deliver them with a big ol’ spoonful of North Dakota nice. In 2016 Nathan won the North Dakota Comedy Contest presented by Level 2 Comedy Club in Fargo. And in 2018 he won the 701 Comedy Competition.

DESCRIPTION:Samuel John Band\nThe Samuel John Band is a dynamic country rock ensemble rooted in the heart of Minnesota. Hailing from the small town of Braham\, MN\, Samuel John found his musical calling through the inspiring performances of his mother\, a pianist and vocalist\, and witnessing his brother Ben drum for a touring country band. Samuel\, also a frequent concert-goer\, drew inspiration from watching his favorite songwriters in the independent country and rock scene. Joined by longtime friend Jake Abel on bass\, whose experience spans multiple bands\, and meeting Brandon Nelson\, the lead guitarist\, through spontaneous jams at the Monday night Terminal Bar open sessions in Minneapolis\, the band found its core. John Wander\, previously collaborating with Brandon\, completed the lineup on drums. Together\, they’re doing their best to create an authentic and original country rock sound. \n \nOf the Orchard\nMinneapolis-based pop-rock band Of The Orchard proudly defines themselves as “not\, not a boy band.” Marked by a tinge of youthful angst\, Of The Orchard pairs a nostalgic sound of 90s and early 2000s rock (Third Eye Blind\, Fall Out Boy\, Jimmy Eat World) with narrative\, sentimental lyrics (Dawes\, Noah Kahan\, Kacey Musgraves). Based in Minneapolis\, the band is composed of five classically trained musicians and music educators (Emily Malmgren\, Olin Edwards\, Jacques Tousignant\, Kylie Johnson\, and Henry Rieffer). Drawing inspiration from the realms of pop\, rock\, and the narratives of female singer-songwriters\, Emily Malmgren’s songwriting serves as the cornerstone of the band. The band’s collaborative process shapes what starts as a voice memo of Emily and her piano into unique arrangements that highlight the individual talents of each member\, infusing each song with technical precision and creative flair. Prepare for a night full of artistry and community\, all culminating in the heart of downtown Minneapolis at Day Block Brewing.  \nThis event is all ages \nIn partnership with Radio K \nMatthew Smith and the Menagerie\nEmotions are stories we share. This idea rings true throughout the music of Minneapolis native\, Matthew Smith (he/him). In the fall of 2024\, Smith joined forces with “The Menagerie” [Max Froehlich (they/them)\, Nicholas Otto (he/him)\, Daniel Smith (he/him)]. Smith’s soulful melodies and poignant lyrics refl ect the spirit of authenticity. Infl uence from folk\, funk\, and indie rock creates a feeling of nostalgia\, while improvised solos and jams make performances feel fresh and personal. “Playing House”\, Smith’s latest musical project\, was released March of 2025. \n\n\n\nPolivon\nFormed in the Summer of 2023\, aspiring songwriter Andrew Njogu asked a few of his high school buddies to join him in writing tunes to perform live. The group set out to play a few local bars\, and hosted a few shows in their garage practice space in Como\, Minneapolis. Their sound generally revolves around styles rooted in 60s-70s pop-rock\, with long and driving jams to melt your ears\, often infused with elements of R&B\, country\, and stories about love. Each member brings their own unique touch brought by their differing musical backgrounds\, blending into a spontaneous and diverse selection of music\, including many covers! \n\n\n\nDJ Lemony\nDj Lemony\, crash landed on the south side of Minneapolis in the spring of 2002\, and ever since has been fascinated with the way vibrations make you move\, bringing his electric eclectic vehicle for eccentric vibes\, you can’t but move your feet and feel united! \n\n\n\nThe Penny Peaches\nThe Penny Peaches are a family band with an alt-Americana sound. Sister songwriters Hattie and Grace Peach feature lyrical storytelling\, blood harmonies\, and soaring melodies in their songs. Hattie brings lead vocals\, acoustic guitar\, and fi ddle to the group and Grace adds sweet harmonies and melodic bass lines. Their fi rst full-length album “Good For Me” came out in August\, 2024. \n  \n  \n  \n  \nFeatured Artists\nAlbert Klayman \nAlbert Klayman is a (soon to be) graduate from the University of Minnesota’s Art program. Working mainly through printmaking\, he explores things forgotten or overlooked\, the shared mundane experience\, and the relationship of used objects to the humans that use them. The goal is often a good “ha! Ha! Hmmm..” \n  \nEloise Koltun \nBased out of Minneapolis\, Eloise Koltun is a current student\, Illustrator\, and fine artist. Her work is about remembering that grief in its persistence\, is full of whimsy. There is joy in remembering even when it hurts. Missing someone is painful but the memory itself is divine. Her work functions as a celebration of feeling. Everything is impermanent\, and it hurts\, but it’s wonderful. \n  \n  \nAva Schlegel \nAva Schlegel is an undergraduate in the University of Minnesota’s Bachelor of Fine Arts program. Working mainly through ceramics\, painting\, and printmaking. \n  \n  \n  \n  \nJoey Peterson \nJ.R. Peterson is a Minneapolis based photographer specializing in analogue methods. His process is entirely self contained\, from shooting to developing to darkroom printing\, scanning\, and zine creation. Much of Peterson’s work is informed by surrealism\, the fluxus movement of the 60s\, and architecture. Incorporating multimedia aspects is central to his work and an extension of his artistry that he is especially passionate about. Approaching photography from outside the proverbial box\, Peterson is less interested in ‘capturing’\, and more interested in creating work that blurs the lines between mediums and the messages photographs produce.

Through a shared joy of musical expression and a love of performing\, they have delighted many ears around the twin cities area. The band formed in the fall of 2022 and have been creating new tunes since. All original songs are written by singer-guitarist Sam Scheuneman who has been writing songs since he learned to speak. Bassist Dawson Ludvigson adds intricate bass melodies under a light melody sung by Sam. Guitarist Jack Nobel shreds lead lines to give each song its unique timbre. On the drums\, Joe Kiser continues to keep beats fresh and alive with a lively and energetic tone. Together these musicians create a sound that feels complete and is full of emotion. \n\nGarden Glow\nGarden Glow is a Minneapolis-based alt-rock band blending indie grit\, punk energy\, and melodic chaos. They bring a loud\, emotional punch to every set ensuring maximum head nods and danceable riffs. \nTwo Weeks Past Never\nTwo Weeks Past Never is a pop/punk\, alt-rock band from Minneapolis that grew up in an atmosphere of guitar noise from the 2000s and 2010s. Heavy on the pop influence with infectious lyrics and plenty of overdrive\, 2WPN has a sound that you can’t get enough of – their energetic and engaging stage presence takes their live shows to another level. Filled with ambition (and a little caffeine)\, Two Weeks Past Never is ready to take on the world.
