DESCRIPTION:“Party 4 Parties” is a brand new arts/music showcase highlighting the flourishing artistic scene in the metro area. Prepare for a night full of artistry and community\, all culminating in the heart of downtown Minneapolis at Day Block Brewing.  \nThis event is all ages \nIn partnership with Radio K \nMatthew Smith and the Menagerie\nEmotions are stories we share. This idea rings true throughout the music of Minneapolis native\, Matthew Smith (he/him). In the fall of 2024\, Smith joined forces with “The Menagerie” [Max Froehlich (they/them)\, Nicholas Otto (he/him)\, Daniel Smith (he/him)]. Smith’s soulful melodies and poignant lyrics refl ect the spirit of authenticity. Infl uence from folk\, funk\, and indie rock creates a feeling of nostalgia\, while improvised solos and jams make performances feel fresh and personal. “Playing House”\, Smith’s latest musical project\, was released March of 2025. \n\n\n\nPolivon\nFormed in the Summer of 2023\, aspiring songwriter Andrew Njogu asked a few of his high school buddies to join him in writing tunes to perform live. The group set out to play a few local bars\, and hosted a few shows in their garage practice space in Como\, Minneapolis. Their sound generally revolves around styles rooted in 60s-70s pop-rock\, with long and driving jams to melt your ears\, often infused with elements of R&B\, country\, and stories about love. Each member brings their own unique touch brought by their differing musical backgrounds\, blending into a spontaneous and diverse selection of music\, including many covers! \n\n\n\nDJ Lemony\nDj Lemony\, crash landed on the south side of Minneapolis in the spring of 2002\, and ever since has been fascinated with the way vibrations make you move\, bringing his electric eclectic vehicle for eccentric vibes\, you can’t but move your feet and feel united! \n\n\n\nThe Penny Peaches\nThe Penny Peaches are a family band with an alt-Americana sound. Sister songwriters Hattie and Grace Peach feature lyrical storytelling\, blood harmonies\, and soaring melodies in their songs. Hattie brings lead vocals\, acoustic guitar\, and fi ddle to the group and Grace adds sweet harmonies and melodic bass lines. Their fi rst full-length album “Good For Me” came out in August\, 2024. \n  \n  \n  \n  \nFeatured Artists\nAlbert Klayman \nAlbert Klayman is a (soon to be) graduate from the University of Minnesota’s Art program. Working mainly through printmaking\, he explores things forgotten or overlooked\, the shared mundane experience\, and the relationship of used objects to the humans that use them. The goal is often a good “ha! Ha! Hmmm..” \n  \nEloise Koltun \nBased out of Minneapolis\, Eloise Koltun is a current student\, Illustrator\, and fine artist. Her work is about remembering that grief in its persistence\, is full of whimsy. There is joy in remembering even when it hurts. Missing someone is painful but the memory itself is divine. Her work functions as a celebration of feeling. Everything is impermanent\, and it hurts\, but it’s wonderful. \n  \n  \nAva Schlegel \nAva Schlegel is an undergraduate in the University of Minnesota’s Bachelor of Fine Arts program. Working mainly through ceramics\, painting\, and printmaking. \n  \n  \n  \n  \nJoey Peterson \nJ.R. Peterson is a Minneapolis based photographer specializing in analogue methods. His process is entirely self contained\, from shooting to developing to darkroom printing\, scanning\, and zine creation. Much of Peterson’s work is informed by surrealism\, the fluxus movement of the 60s\, and architecture. Incorporating multimedia aspects is central to his work and an extension of his artistry that he is especially passionate about. Approaching photography from outside the proverbial box\, Peterson is less interested in ‘capturing’\, and more interested in creating work that blurs the lines between mediums and the messages photographs produce.

Through a shared joy of musical expression and a love of performing\, they have delighted many ears around the twin cities area. The band formed in the fall of 2022 and have been creating new tunes since. All original songs are written by singer-guitarist Sam Scheuneman who has been writing songs since he learned to speak. Bassist Dawson Ludvigson adds intricate bass melodies under a light melody sung by Sam. Guitarist Jack Nobel shreds lead lines to give each song its unique timbre. On the drums\, Joe Kiser continues to keep beats fresh and alive with a lively and energetic tone. Together these musicians create a sound that feels complete and is full of emotion. \n\nGarden Glow\nGarden Glow is a Minneapolis-based alt-rock band blending indie grit\, punk energy\, and melodic chaos. They bring a loud\, emotional punch to every set ensuring maximum head nods and danceable riffs. \nTwo Weeks Past Never\nTwo Weeks Past Never is a pop/punk\, alt-rock band from Minneapolis that grew up in an atmosphere of guitar noise from the 2000s and 2010s. Heavy on the pop influence with infectious lyrics and plenty of overdrive\, 2WPN has a sound that you can’t get enough of – their energetic and engaging stage presence takes their live shows to another level. Filled with ambition (and a little caffeine)\, Two Weeks Past Never is ready to take on the world.

DESCRIPTION:Adam Bohanan\nAdam is a Twin Cities based musician and songwriter who also frequently performs in New York City\, Nashville\, New Orleans\, and tours around the country. His music draws from soul\, jazz\, funk\, and R&B. His influences include: Stevie Wonder\, D’Angelo\, Donny Hathaway\, Sam Cooke\, Marvin Gaye\, and others. \nIn 2024\, he was a semi-finalist on Season 26 of The Voice. On Team Reba\, he was known for his “dirty soul” style and fun-loving attitude. Notable performances include: Teddy Swims’ “Lose Control\,” Black Pumas’ “Colors\,” and Chris Stapleton’s “Think I’m in Love with You.” \n \nTyler Dale\nTyler Dale is a guitarist\, producer\, and country-blues artist with a storyteller’s soul. He holds a master’s degree in music from SIUE and brings a blend of blues\, jazz\, and country into everything he plays. His debut album Salutations features his family — including his sister Kristen Anne and father Mountain Man Dave Elder — and reflects the musical roots that shaped him. Tyler has worked with artists like Lady A\, Uncle Kracker\, and Josh Turner\, and produced Joanna Serenko’s album Best of Me. His sound falls somewhere between James Taylor\, John Mayer\, and B.B. King — always melodic\, always intentional\, and always played from the heart. Tyler Dale is currently on a coastal tour with Joanna Serenko\, along with their dog Cedar in their Airstream. Be sure to catch them on their stop in Minneapolis! \n\nJoanna Serenko\nJoanna Serenko is a genre-blending singer-songwriter with roots in St. Louis and a voice that’s equal parts soul\, sincerity\, and strength. A finalist on Season 18 of The Voice\, Joanna quickly made a name for herself with her emotional performances and effortless vocal style. Her debut album Best of Me\, available on all streaming platforms\, showcases her songwriting alongside her partner Tyler Dale — with Joanna crafting lyrics that cut deep and linger long after the last note.
