Moonlight Muses is a new rock band that plays a variety of music, including rock, Y2K, disco, and more. They also produce original musicals at the University of Minnesota.
Dirty-930
Dirty-930is a four-piece Midwest alternative rock band blending punk and Midwest emo influences. Driven by catchy melodies and high-energy riffs, they bring a raw sound built to keep the crowd moving from start to finish.
Kilroy
Kilroy combines waves of distortion and chorus with hooks that could clear out invasive species. The band’s live performances are nothing if not explosive.
Yellow Roses
Yellow Roses is a Twin Cities-based band that blends elements of grunge sound with post-hardcore angst. The band consists of four core members, including Javier Soto (Lead Vocals), Dih Lilley (Drums), Domingo Short Basso (Bass), and Owen Jahn (Lead guitar). Yellow roses. has played shows for the Prince Block party, Pilllar forum, and DIY venues such as Bizzarro World and SZN 2.
“Join us for a night of music presented in cooperation between Openstage and Moonlight muses LLC. Local bands Yellow Roses, Kilroy, Dirty-930, and The Moonlight Muses will be performing. Openstage is partnering with Moonlight Muses to promote their upcoming season of shows this fall at the University of Minnesota. Moonlight Muses will be participating in the Minnesota Fringe Festival this summer and will continue to help Openstage with their fall season shows including Rocky Horror Picture Show. A portion of proceeds will go to openstage programming and furthering student engagement in the theater arts. Great music and good food, we hope to see you there!”
