Second Hand Dan
Larrikins
Moneybones
Join us at Day Block Brewing on Thursday, August 20, for an evening of original Twin Cities rock featuring Second Hand Dan, Larrikins, and Moneybones.
Headlining the night is Second Hand Dan, a dual-vocalist indie rock band that has been a fixture of the Minnesota music scene for well over a decade. Featuring Collyn Camara (lead guitar), Graden Hill (vocals/guitar), George Knier (keys), Ben Schwartz (drums), and Rachel Scott (vocals/bass), the group blends thoughtful songwriting, rich arrangements, and seasoned musicianship. Their musical evolution is documented across the acclaimed LPs From Nothing to Nothing (2020) and Before We Dry Up (2023), while new material currently being debuted live offers a glimpse into the band’s next chapter as they continue recording in the studio.
Rounding out the bill, Larrikins deliver infectious pop-rock driven by jangly guitars, memorable hooks, and an energetic rhythm section. Founded by songwriter and guitarist Tom Blackburn with the goal of crafting songs that linger long after the music stops, the band features longtime friends Brian Wahl (vocals/bass), Kevin Zech (vocals/guitar), and Ryan Babiracki (drums). Their high-energy performances transform catchy bedroom demos into hard-hitting rock anthems built for live audiences.
Opening the night, is Minneapolis rock trio Moneybones. Combining heavy riffs, tight grooves, and melodic songwriting, the band has quickly earned a reputation for sounding far beyond their years. Anchored by a rhythm section that has played together since childhood and fronted by a vocalist who feels like the missing piece they always needed, Moneybones bring a powerful and dynamic presence to the stage. Their debut single, “False Faces,” is available now.
Don’t miss this showcase of local talent at Day Block Brewing—three bands, one stage, and a night packed with memorable songs, powerful performances, and Minnesota rock at its finest.
