Cut Rate Clones
Punk dads who spent the 90s immersed in the music and messaging of the second wave of punk. Bands like the Suicide Machines, Rancid, and Propagandhi. But we aren’t here to sing nostalgic anthems about the days of yore. Our songs are fueled by a fierce commitment to building a racially just, pro-feminist, classless society where billionaires are extinct, and our passion for rocking has never been stronger.
Unattractive Giant Monster
Unattractive Giant Monster is a post genre, weirdo sewer punk band from the Twin Cities in Minnesota. Fueled by hot dogs and inspired by bands like The Butthole Surfers, Devo, and Diarrhea Planet, UGM is ready to party.
My Kid Banana

Suburban Muscle
We are Suburban Muscle from Minneapolis. We play music. Don’t believe us? Come see for yourself!
Headlining the evening, Cut Rate Clones deliver fast, melodic punk rooted in the spirit of the ’90s second-wave scene. Drawing inspiration from bands like Suicide Machines, Rancid, and Propagandhi, they pair driving riffs and infectious hooks with songs that champion racial justice, feminism, economic equality, and community. They’re not here to relive the past—they’re here to push punk forward with purpose and plenty of volume.
Bringing the weird is Unattractive Giant Monster, a self-described post-genre sewer punk band from the Twin Cities. Fueled by hot dogs and influenced by the offbeat sounds of Butthole Surfers, Devo, and Diarrhea Planet, UGM serves up a chaotic, unpredictable live show that’s equal parts punk rock, performance art, and party.
Also on the bill is My Kid Banana, a Twin Cities four-piece that’s been delivering energetic punk rock since 2017. With punchy songs, catchy melodies, and an infectious live presence, they’re sure to keep the crowd moving from the first chord to the last.
Rounding out the lineup is Suburban Muscle, a Minneapolis band with a simple invitation: “We play music. Don’t believe us? Come see for yourself!” Sometimes that’s all the introduction you need.
Whether you’re into classic-inspired punk, experimental chaos, or discovering your next favorite local band, this stacked lineup promises an unforgettable Saturday night. Grab a craft beer, bring your friends, and experience some of the Twin Cities’ best independent punk and rock acts live at Day Block Brewing.
