Hailing from St. Paul, MN, Michael Cain leads a dynamic blues-rock ensemble steeped in Southern tradition. Drawing inspiration from legends like The Allman Brothers, The Black Crowes and Blackberry Smoke, the band crafts a sound that’s both soulful and electrifying.
The Hazy Phase
The Hazy Phase is a gritty blues rock trio hailing from the Minneapolis area, known for fusing blues raw slide guitar work with heavy rhythms and vintage soul. Formed in 2020, the band brings together the talents of Dave McDevitt on vocals and guitar, Chris Milinovich on cigar-box guitars, and David Quamme on drums. Their sound is rooted in the deep tradition of blues legends like Muddy Waters and Freddie King, filtered through the swagger of ZZ Top and the modern edge of bands like Left Lane Cruiser, The Black Keys, and Jack White.

Celebrate a night of rock, blues, great food, and fresh beer as 13 Arrows headlines a special EP Release Show for their new release, Gasoline on Fire, at Day Block Brewing on Saturday, October 17th, from 7–10 PM inside the Tap Room.
Since 2016, 13 Arrows has been bringing rock and roll back to its raw, unbound, and authentic roots. With Gasoline on Fire, the band continues to channel that unapologetic spirit into a sound built for loud guitars, driving rhythms, and pure rock and roll energy. This special release show is a chance to celebrate the new EP live and experience the band’s music in an intimate, high-energy setting.
The night also features Cain & Co., led by St. Paul musician Michael Cain. Steeped in Southern tradition, the dynamic blues-rock ensemble draws inspiration from The Allman Brothers, The Black Crowes, and Blackberry Smoke, blending soulful grooves, expressive musicianship, and electrifying rock and roll.
