Founded by members Dan Bullard (guitar), Nate Seim (drums), Tim Greenwood (bass), and Tyler Jensen (guitar), Trellis serves as a source of fellowship and a structure of support for artistic expression and personal growth for both the band’s members and listeners. The band has been building a following in the Minneapolis alternative music scene buoyed by its unique blend of post rock, post metal, desert rock, progressive rock, and psychedelic rock. Highlights so far include multiple shows at Art-A-Whirl and the opportunity to perform with underground greats such as Surrounded by Water, The Color of Cyan, PRGRPHS, North Innsbruck, and Moonlit Mushroom. The band’s debut album will be released on 12/5/26 and they will perform an album release show at Day Block Brewery on that date.
PRGRPHS
PRGRPHS (pronounced “Paragraphs”) is an instrumental post-rock trio based in the Twin Cities. The group delivers a mix of cinematic synths and cascading guitars colliding with a heavy, tectonic bassline and straightforward, punchy drums that both serve as the music’s heartbeat. Balancing ambient lulls with roaring, crescendo-driven climaxes, they create an immersive sonic journey that demands to be felt as much as heard.
Spend Saturday, December 5th, immersed in an evening of expansive, atmospheric rock as Trellis celebrates the release of its debut album at Day Block Brewing’s Event Center. Music runs from 6 to 10 p.m., with a four-band lineup moving from cinematic instrumental post-rock to heavy, progressive sound.
PRGRPHS opens the show, setting the tone with instrumental post-rock built from cinematic synths, cascading guitars, deep bass, and punchy drums. Their music moves between quiet, ambient passages and towering crescendos, creating a sound that feels as much like a journey as a performance.
Trellis takes the stage second to celebrate the release of its debut album. The Minneapolis four-piece blends post-rock, post-metal, desert rock, progressive rock, and psychedelia into a sound shaped by riffs, shifting textures, and existential moods. More than a milestone for the band, the album release is a chance to hear the new music live and share the moment with the local community that has supported them.
Surrounded by Water plays third, bringing instrumental post-rock that balances soft ambience and spacious textures with immense walls of sound. Their patient builds and powerful peaks offer a full-bodied, immersive listening experience.
VIN headlines the event, closing out a night devoted to adventurous, guitar-driven music.
