Booster Pack
Booster Pack is a 10 person Jazz Fusion cover band that exclusively plays video game music. Some vocal, some instrumental, all fantastic. The group strives to spread the love of video game music and has been doing so by recording and performing in the Twin Cities metro.
Paper Parlor
Matt Silverberg AKA MarimbaMatt (he/him) is a Cofounder, the Vice President, and Assistant Conductor of the TCGSO. Matt has carved a niche in the music world thanks to his love of video game music and the marimba. He has performed as a soloist at numerous conventions and festivals throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin, and performed on the 20th Anniversary North American tour of Avatar: The Last Airbender Live in Concert as a timpanist/percussionist. Matt performs in Flipside Percussion, a percussion trio sponsored by MPR’s Your Classical Class Notes program that gives educational concerts in K-12 schools throughout Minnesota. He also joined the COMPAS performer roster this year to further spread the gospel of VGM (video game music)! He has also performed with several professional regional orchestras in the Midwest.
Marimba Matt and Co
Paper Parlor is an Indie Rock band based in Duluth Minnesota and has been performing and recording since 2011. Currently a 5-piece group, Paper Parlor continues to expand upon their sound and energy, blending many genres into up-beat tunes for all to enjoy!

Their sound blends global rhythmic influences with elements of indie, jazz, and experimental music, creating an immersive listening experience that feels both grounded and exploratory. Expect hypnotic grooves, dynamic interplay between instruments, and moments where rhythm takes center stage as the primary storyteller. It’s an opening set designed to draw the audience in and establish a rich sonic atmosphere for the night ahead.
From 8:00 to 9:00 PM, Booster Pack takes over with a burst of indie rock energy. Known for punchy rhythms, melodic hooks, and tight musicianship, they bring a more direct and driving sound to the lineup. Their set balances catchy songwriting with a raw, live-wire performance style, keeping the energy high and the crowd engaged. Booster Pack’s music thrives in a live setting, where their upbeat momentum and accessible melodies create an easy connection with the audience.
Closing the night from 9:00 to 10:00 PM, Abandon Quest delivers a powerful finale built on intensity, emotion, and full-band impact. Their performance brings a sense of urgency and release, rounding out the evening with a dynamic set that leaves a lasting impression. Whether leaning into heavier rock moments or more expansive, anthemic passages, they are built to close the night on a high note.
