J-Mo on the Beat and the J-Lighters

Jamie Passewe (J-Mo On The Beat) is a singer-songwriter and musician born and raised in Saint Paul, Minnesota. His music reflects on the styles of the 50s and early 60s, as well as a touch of alternative and indie rock. His sound is influenced by artists such as Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, Cliff Richard, Stephen Sanchez, and Billy Fury. He started performing at the age of 10 with dancing and explored becoming a music artist as a full on life journey in high school. He is now a college graduate (from Saint Paul College) with the support from his community, which he calls his “J-Lighters”. He loves to play the local Twin Cities spots like Caydence Records and Coffee, Kj’s Hideaway, White Squirrel, and more, as both as a solo artist or with his amazing band, The J-Lighters!

The Rowdy Gents

The Rowdy Gents are a rockabilly band that formed in February of 2021 in Minneapolis, MN through the love of early rock & roll and a series of lucky Craigslist inquiries. The original lineup of the band consisted of singer/guitarist, Kody Gerard, bassist/harmonicist, Nolan Larson, and drummer, Kellan Pontarolo in which they recorded and released singles (‘Til Then) I’ll Be Blue/My Babe and Five More Days/You Did Me Right in April of 2022. In June of 2022, Pontarolo left the band and was soon replaced by Jake Pomasl. The band later released their first full album, Old Fashioned Love Songs in December of 2023. The Rowdy Gents pull inspiration from the classic artists of the 1950’s to deliver a fun, entertaining sound that you can’t help but dance to.
