Jordan Johnston
Jordan Johnston is a Minneapolis based R&B/pop singer/songwriter/producer who draws from a wide range of musical influences including, Micheal Jackson, Mint Condition, Justin Timberlake, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, Usher & Prince. Jordan is focused on crafting songs with strong hooks and catchy melodies. Jordan has opened for R&B superstars including Stokley, former frontman of Mint Condition, Lyfe Jenngins as well as NPG legend, Liv Warfield on the main stage at Prince’s home, Paisley Park.
Jordan has assembled a live all-star band to back him. On drums, his father Bob Johnston is a former staff writer & producer for Grammy Award Wining and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis of Flyte Tyme Productions. On Keyboards is Demar DEMZ Gayle from the national touring, Grammy nominated reggae band “Raging Fyah.” On bass is Ace Mack. Ace has extensive national touring experience sharing the stage with acts such as, Richard Marx, Silk, Cameo and Ann Nesby (Sounds of Blackness.) On guitar is Christian Couch. One of the most respected guitarists in the Twin Cities (Jaybee & The Routine), Christian brings a smooth soul tone to Jordan’s sound.
Jackson Hurst
Jackson Hurst emerges as a solo artist with a different sound than he’s known for in the Twin Cities. The church kid forges a congruent and individual music career in the genres of R&B/Soul and Pop that is heavily influenced by his roots in Gospel. With his debut single, “So Do I”, it is just the beginning of a new legacy built as an artist.
Mayda
MAYDA is an Internationally touring singer, musician and lyricist from St. Paul, MN. With a music career that spans the last decade, MAYDA is more than just a singer. She is a powerful force in the theater scene, collaborating with artists and advocating for social justice. She has performed through out Europe, Asia, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and Guam. MAYDA’s music is a bridge between different parts of the world, creating something new that merges both her different musical influence and theatrical approach to performance that leaves audiences feeling like they have taken a journey.
