Twin Citizen
Twin Citizen is a four-piece indie rock band out of Saint Paul, Minnesota. Funk, alternative, synth, and progressive textures run underneath songs built to connect, the kind you feel in your chest in a packed room. Adam Lifto calls it “Organic Atari Music.” Joe Hartley puts it a different way: Radiohead and the Red Hot Chili Peppers covering Pink Floyd. However you describe it, every song still sounds like Twin Citizen. The band came together in 2021 chasing one idea: make music that is honest and a little adventurous, then play it like it matters. They have shared stages across the Twin Cities and earned features in Woodbury Magazine, Voyage Minnesota, and more. Right now they are heads-down on their most ambitious work yet, a self-recorded, self-produced full-length tracked in a studio they built themselves. New singles are on the way, with the record targeted for 2027.
Dan Bullard
Dan has been active in the Twin Cities music scene since the age of 9 and is a founding member of instrumental post rock band Trellis which debuted in 2025. The band has been building a following in the Minneapolis alternative music scene with its unique blend of post rock, post metal, desert rock, progressive rock, and psychedelic rock. Highlights so far include multiple shows at Art-A-Whirl and the opportunity to perform with underground greats such as Surrounded By Water, The Color of Cyan, PRGRPHS, North Innsbruck, and Moonlit Mushroom. The band’s debut album will release on 12/5/26 and they will perform an album release show at Day Block Brewery on that date with friends VIN, PRGRPHS, and Surrounded By Water.
In 2026, Dan decided to form a solo project as an alternative outlet where he could blend elements of indie rock, emo, pop punk, pop rock, and “happy post rock.” All instruments and vocals on the project’s debut album were performed by Dan Bullard, and it will be released in 2027. The project will make its live debut at a show on 10/2/26 featuring Twin Citizen and Holly XO at Day Block Brewery with Dan Bullard on vocals and guitar, Joe Marxen (formerly of Loser Magnet) on guitar, Andrew Valentine (of Leslie) on drums, and Nick Stalls on bass.
Holly XO
St. Paul singer-songwriter Holly XO creates poetic, artful music that blends personal experience with themes of healing, strength, spirituality, and hope. Her work carries a thoughtful feminist perspective without preaching, inviting listeners to reflect, connect, and find meaning in their own experiences. Currently working on her debut album, Dear Holly, Holly XO is developing a distinctive artistic voice rooted in vulnerability, resilience, and emotional honesty. The album is slated for release in 2026.
